Sharp pain in stomach

I took my vitamins and ate a banana about 3 o'clock yesterday afternoon. About 15 minutes later my stomach started to get upset and a very sharp pain started. It's now been over 12 hours. The pain keeps coming and going. I thought it was just indigestion. I keep burping little burps and relieves the pain for a few seconds. I have taken a few rolaids then I tried Mylanta and nothing is working.  If I eat it makes the pain 10 times worse. I've only ate a banana, a piece of toast and a small bowl of cheerios.  I know I need to eat more but it's just to painful.

Anyone else have this and what did you do to relive the pain?

Glad to see your better! :) the first two weeks I had loose bowel movements, too! I was worried something was wrong and my RE said some women get that instead of constipation. Well, no sooner than I asked, I started getting the constipation! It's better now though.

I am not constipated I actually have loose bowl movements.  I think it's odd cuz usually with pregnancy it's constipation that occurs.

I took more mylanta and it seemed to finally stop about 8 this morning and i just ate some food and took my vitamins I'll wait and see what happens. I'm pretty sure it was indigestion.

Are you constipated? this happens to me alot because I have been constipated. I bought some colace but the dr at the ER said he would use natural methods since I
haven't gotten out of the first trimester. I know it sounds yucky, but the bowel could be getting backed up due to slow motility and causing pain. Once I go to the bathroom, they go away. The vitamins have so much iron in them that it causes constipation. Hope this helps.
