Thank you so much for sharing. I had my first hcg levels come back at 5112 and I should be appx. 6 weeks now. I have second blood test tomorrow. I appreciate my doctor being safe than sorry...but I really wish I wouldn't have had such an early ultrasound.  I was having some pain on my left side (which has subsided) during week four and they wanted to check it out...than is when there was nothing. Then (I think maybe to shut me up...LOL) they did an ultrasound 10 days later and still nothing. I have peace though...worrie still come up to bite me in the butt every now and then..and it hurts. But I have read enough stories that make me feel better about it all. And God is in control no matter what...so I mean...that is enough to make me smile right there!!! I will keep you posted when my second blood test come back.

hi jmg1450 feel free to ask me any questions you want. i had my D&C August 12, 2009 so 5 months ago now. but it would have been 4 months since my D&C when i got pregnant again.....totally unplanned. my fisrt beta was 18 at less then 4 weeks pregnant, i went back every two days and it went up to 51, it was so low that i just knew something was wrong. by the time i went to the hospital with small cramps and other problems that when i found out that the sac was empty. it was a perfect sac...just nothing in it. my beta numbers at that time was 6 hundred and something. and that was when i was suppose to be 7 weeks and 3 days. was the symptoms all in my head?? cause the moment they said there was no fetal pole i just felt different. i wasnt bloated anymore, my breast didnt hurt, i wasnt as sleepy. i do know as long as that sac remained in me i will still have hcg in my body and still feel pregnant which was the worst part. it still can be really early for you. i was 7 weeks and your only 5 weeks. give it time, you feeling pregnant is a good sign. this baby didnt show up on my fisrt ultrasound at 4 weeks and 6 days just a little dot now its a nice litttle blob at 6 weeks and 6 days. please keep me posted.

I saw on a previous post you had a blighted ovum pregnancy.  How long ago was that...and how long did you wait to get pregnant again? You said you lost your symtoms...at about how far a long were you when you lost your symtoms? Did they measure your HCG levels...do you remember what they were?  Sorry I'm asking so many questions but I went for an ultrasound Jan 11th and they said I was measuring around 4 weeks and they didn't see anything in my gestational sac and that it was probably to early. 10 days later they had me do another ultrasound and I was measuring 5 weeks and still nothing. Also how did your sac look...was it perfectly round...did it look like there were "specs" in it or like a perfect round black circle?  ANY insight you can provide is great.  I am not really having any cramping...my breast are still sore worse in the evening when I take off my bra but only had one day where even if the wind blew on them it hurt...I feel like I could nap almost anytime still. We weren't trying for this little one but we want him or her so much!
