While YOU are feeling lousy, baby is blissfully floating around in your belly completely unaware. Try not to worry, baby is fine.  If you can't keep down water or other liquids, try popsicles.  If the vomiting and diarrhea are too bad you can ask your doc for something to help you so you don't dehyrdate.

Sorry that you are feeling so bad.  But don't worry, the baby cannot get your virus and will be fine.  Just make sure that if you have a fever, that you take tylenol to keep it low - the one thing that is not good for the baby is for you to have a fever higher than 101.  Also, make sure you are drinking what you can - or at least eat ice chips - with that much vomiting and diarrhea, you want to watch out for dehydration.  Rest up and take good care of yourself.  Good luck.

I had one a little over two weeks ago. But mine put me in the hospital on IV fluids till it got a bit better cause I was really dehydrated. They did an ultrasound on me at the time, and it seemed fine. I don't think the baby knows or feels it. Mine didn't seem to. (At least they didn't say that it did)
