How are the dads doing?

My husband is pretty much giddy, but for the first few days he seemed more focused on worrying about making sure his job is solid or whether he should try to work somewhere with more opportunity for growth (totally unnecessary, we are fine, and I am an editor and can always bring in money even from home, but I think the "provider" idea became very salient at first). He also takes amazing care of me and I think it makes him feel less worried too. Telling his family and mine made him very happy and now he wants to tell everyone but we are waiting a little while. Most of all he is so excited about us growing into a family and enjoys referring to me as two people.

My hubby is worried as we MC in nov but everyday he is getting used to it. We just need to have our first scan, see the heart beating and then will feel alot more real.
Waiting for a letter everyday to scan the scan date is! but not here yet.
We call each other mummy and daddy and just laugh at the fact that we really are going to have a baby.
I am so excited,i just smile all the time. Every day i wake up and no i have not lost it i just want to scream with happyness that i am pregnant. I no i should not be to excited bacause of before but my positive thinking wins everytime.

We are all going to be mummies x x x x x x

I think DH is the one pregnant this time. So far he has randomly started snoring, gained 10lbs, has actual cravings that he gets up and goes to the store for, and i think his sex drive dropped a little lol. other then that he is just excited we successfully got pregnant with out trying, and avoided all the stress that we had with our DS.

My husband was really excited at first, and still is, but I think some worry has set in. I m/c'd our first in July, so every little thing scares both of us. We don't have insurance, so we have to apply for some medical assistance, which I think he feels like its his fault. He works a full time job, but his employer doesn't offer insurance. I work two part-time jobs, but don't get insurance either. We've both been looking for another job, one with insurance, but I got pregnant sooner than we thought I would.

My husband has put me on his own bedrest.  He said he is going to keep me worry free and stress free for at least the first 12 weeks.    And like your husband, sg10, mine is concerned about how I will react if something goes wrong.  Given that I also have PCOS, we are just being very calm.  He's taken to doing all the house work though, so that's a plus!

Its very diff to judge my husbands feeling. I think he is excited but worried if something goes wrong I would be very depressed and I will not be able to take it, I have been lot sick from past 1 week due to lot of  work in office. He has been so supportive does everything @ home. I just sit @ 1 place and do nothing after coming back from office.  I feel a lot guilty but just cant help. if i see food i feel sick.

My hub is worried because of the 2 MC's in 2010. After the first trimester I think he will have a nice sigh of relief and then can get excited!

My husband is just like yours, worried with glimpses of excitement.  Can't wait to be done with first trimester.

Hi! My husband is more worried than excited. We lost twins at 9 weeks November 5th and he is just very concerned out me and the baby. I am sure once we get out of the first trimester he will show more excitement as will I :-) Take Care!!!
