Hi,

I travelled all the way through my pregnancy with my now 2 yo daughter.  Up until about 8 1/2 months (the latest they let you travel).  With this one, the same thing.  I travel all the time for work (1 - 3 times a month), including international trips.

Just drink plenty of water.  All will be fine!

Have you made a decision about your trip?

I have the same question. I am supposed to be going to Tahiti in late March and will be about 14 wks pregnant. Not sure if we should cancel or postpone our trip. I am most worried about the long flight (8 hrs), how I will be feeling (if having morning sickness, it could really put a damper on the trip...), and being away from my doctor if something were to happen. I already have all my vaccinations so that is not an issue. Part of me feels like I should just cancel b/c finally being pregnant is more important, but another part of me knows that this may be my last chance for a relaxing vacation for many years to come...

Best not to take any vaccines while pregnant.  During pregnancy the immune system is suppressed to enable the pregnancy not to be rejected.

Giving vaccinations, which stimulate the immune system, is generally not considered a good idea.

Most places don't require vaccines for travel.  Particularly if you are staying in Hotel you should be fine.
