Edd accuracy

How accurate does everyone think their Edd's are? I had a contraceptive implant for the last ten years replaced before expiration every time. I had the last one removed 13th December and my edd is 15th September. But I never had a period from August lady year this is where the confusion comes into it I know I didn't get pregnant til December but does that mean baby was conceived before my implant was removed even though it had two years left and in the ten years I've had one I've never had a failure. Confused.

Plus they determine your due date usually after your first ultrasound and go by how far along your baby is measuring. From my last period I would be due sept 21 but after ultrasound they changed it to sept 12!

You count 2 weeks prior to conception when you are talking about how far along you are. So yo released an egg on Dec. 13th and it was fertilized around Christmas. Now you are due in September. Does that help?
