My 2nd was a boy & we decided not to get him circumsized we're Christian & believe that God made men that way for a reason no need to change God's way ... You gotta be a lil bit more careful w.cleaning thats it.
Im sure the numbing stuff hurts. I saw on YouTube they inject the numbing stuff with a needle in the base of the private. After that there was not much crying. I just don't think iIcould be in the room, I hope its not even an option. Lol
His pediatrician did it, they took him to another room and they left the door open and I didn't hear a peep. She said it doesn't hurt them with the numbing supposably. But afterwards he was bleeding pretty bad and seemed irritated by it :/ I felt really bad, but they are healed in just a few days. Definitely worth it to me
Thanks I've noticed some people can get on their high horse about it, needing to defend their opinion, for me I'm like a sponge I like to hear people's views.
This is my third baby and I didn't notice when I was pregnant with my others (now 6&7) how many people, especially from the USA, who get their boys circumcised, sounds stupid but I honestly thought it was only Jewish and another religion, can't remember the name of it, who got them circumcised. X
You have not offended me. Everyone is titled to there own opinion hun! :) but I have done research on circumcision pros & con then decided to do it. Honestly before my midwife asked me about it at my 37 week check up I didn't really give it too much thought.
Honest question, I thought only the Jewish religion circumcised their boys, how come a lot of America tend to circumcise them. Here in the UK it's practically unheard of unless there's a medical reason for it. Sorry if I'm offending anyone, just curious. My son was born with an almost natural circumcision. X
Thank you ladies ! I just kind of freaked myself out because I watch YouTube videos. Didn't seem like baby really felt it but it just hurt my heart lol
We don't know baby's gender yet but I am worried about the same thing. I think i am a bit scarred after attending a Bris for a friend's baby awhile back. If we have a boy I kind of hope Dad will handle that whole situation
Yes it's fast !! If your son cries it'll be for a second !! My son showed no sign of discomfort after the procedure, just make sure you take good care of it and be gentle !! You'll do great
It's very fast and my son only cried when they numbed him
