Bed rest...

Went to the doctor today, I'm 34+5 and he put me on bed rest because of all the contractions I've been having. No idea what I'm going to do with myself until the baby actually gets here. I'm used to working and this is going to be a huge adjustment for me. Anyone else on bed rest?

I think I'll be okay for a couple weeks until my other children start school. Then it'll be me home alone. I'm going to have to find some form of crafting to get into. Best of luck to you as well!

I have been on bedrest since 30 weeks. I'm 33 weeks today and will be on bedrest until at least 35 weeks, possibly longer. I'm used to working too and I won't lie, it gets hard being on bedrest. For me at least it's a mental struggle being at home, seeing all that needs done, and being able to do absolutely nothing about it. I'm a long way from family so no visitors really and I hate sitting at home alone while my husband goes out. It's all for the very best reason and that gives some motivation but after a while it makes you so very impatient to see your little one and have pregnancy over with. I wish you luck. May you have plenty of reading material, Netflix, and close at hand craft supplies to keep you company!
