Cramping and Bleeding?

I'm probably having a miscarriage, but I wanted to check with you all and see if you've had or heard of someone having moderate to heavy bleeding with period-like cramps and still have a successful pregnancy? I've been having light spotting on and off since I found out I was pregnant on Jan 11th. I hope for the best but expect the worst at this point...

Bad news... I'm pretty certain I just miscarried. Just passed a large piece of tissue that looked like the sac. From what I could tell it looked empty, so I guess it wasn't meant to be. Its strange how our bodies take care of ourselves like that. Well we'll try again in the near future hopefully. Good luck to you all and thank you for the support. <3 take care of yourselves, eat well, don't lift anything too heavy, and so on. Good luck in September. <3

Yeah I called and talked to a nurse. I told her I had an ultrasound scheduled Friday and I told her what was going on. She said I wasn't in any danger if I just ride it out. I'm only six weeks. There's not much they could do anyway. I had some blood drawn today and this past Friday. I'll see how the hcg levels are and get the ultrasound on Friday anyway.

Wow, that sounds like what's going on with me. Honestly, it's not as bad as a period. The blood has not filled up a pad yet in a matter of about 4 hours. It seems to be slowing down a bit and the cramps aren't as bad so I'm hoping for the best.

Thanks for all the love an support girls <3

She said it was just about a period kind of heavy and she did have cramps. But I don't remember exactly what she said caused the bleeding. I forgot. Lol but call your doctor girl(:

I'm really sorry for your loss. :-( That's very good news about your cousin though. Thanks for that positive bit of info. I had implantation bleeding as well, but that ended right before my period was due. This is even way later than my period is supposed to be due. I'll try to take it easy. Thank you. <3

Light bleeding could also be Implantation bleeding. What color is the blood? I also don't know if bleeding that long is good but anything is possible

When I first got pregnant last September I was a little over 6 weeks and I started spotting a little bit then it got extremely heavy like it was my period. I ended up having a miscarriage after days of checking my hcg levels and ultrasounds & not seeing a sac. But my cousin also had extreme bleeding and she ended up being perfectly fine & had my beautiful healthy cousin last June. My advice would be to call your doctor immediately see what they have to say & stay offf your feet as much as possible. But if it gets worse I wouls go ro the er. Try to stay positive girl.
