Doctors Appointment
I'm 36 weeks and 5 days pregnant. I go for my 36 week appointment today, where they're going to check to see if I dialated. How many weeks are you? Have you dialated any?
The doctor I went to with my son didn't check at all because of increase in infection. I switched doctors and they start them at 36 weeks. They also said something about checking for strep down there. Does your doctor do that?
Without complications (contractions or leaking) my doctor won't do a cervical check until 38 weeks. She doesn't want to start premature labor. Today I'm having my first check and I have been thinking of refusing. They are uncomfortable and don't tell you how close to labor you really are.
