False labor :(

I am so sick of false labor! This morning I was woken up at 3:45 with intense contractions. They started about 15 mins apart and progressed to just under 8 mins lasting about 1-2 minutes and hurt so bad I really had to concentrate to get through them... An hour and a half later, just as I'm getting ready to call the dr, they completely stopped!!! Ugh!! This is awful, I thought my little lady was coming today :(

I had irregular contractions for 36 hours before I finally called doctor and he told me to go into labor and delivery. They did admit me, just waiting on baby now!! I guess moral of the story is that it doesn't hurt to call and see what your doc says. Good luck

My doctor still hasn't check me for dilation... I've been asking since 36 weeks (I'm 38 now) but she says they don't do it until later... My baby girl has dropped and I feel a lot of pressure and pain sometimes. I think I may be dilated, at least a little but I have no way of knowing. I hope this week she will check me.

I was admitted to labor and delivery last week for false labor. I can't dilate which resulted in a c section last pregnancy. I'm having my c section Friday but they have me hooked up to a nst right now for contracting again

I had sort of the same, every 5 min but hardly any pain. I'm 40+1, ready for it.
