GD advice please

I have a glucose test tomorrow for gestational diabetes as they said there is too much fluid around baby.
What does anyone know about GD? I'm nervous. Is the excess fluid something to be worried about or is it fixable?

I have to go in tomorrow for my 3 hour glucose screening for GD cause my first one came back high. I was wondering about GD too cause I never had it with my first baby. I have no idea what to expect just hoping the testing comes back good!!

I'm 26 weeks with twins and was told one of my babies has excess amniotic fluid. I took the glucose test twice already and it came out negative so I'm not sure what could be causing it. They told me the same thing. They are just going to monitor me more frequently.

Well I have the same thing, I am 29 weeks and 5 days. As of right now they are just going to monitor me. I failed both glucose test and even with that they will just monitor me. I am now having weekly ultrasound versus two weeks to monitor fluid. I will monitor my sugar at home as well  and unless anything  extremely concerning then I will see an endocrinologist. Until then just monitor what you eat. Unless the fluid increases they don't seem to concerned. Good luck.
