Hospital of choice fpr delivery

Hi, im currently 37 weeks due 9/11. I was just wondering is anyone else on here from Indianapolis and delivering at Eskenazi Hospital? If so do they give you things to take home like a carseat?

I'm from Las Vegas, Nevada and we do have a program called baby bounty that does give away car seats and pretty much anything you need for the baby. Maybe you can speak with your doctor about the program to see if they have something similar because the documents has to be filled out through them.

I'm in another state but I've never heard of hospitals giving away car seats. They are pricey and a liability so I think the hospital would lose a lot of money. I'm on Medicare and can't even get a breast pump for free so maybe research for donation programs if it's out of your budget. I bought my car seat for $85 on Amazon.com. It's the cheapest I could find that was high ranking in safety. I know they won't let baby go home with you if you don't have a proper car seat. They do give away cheap sample packets of nipple ointment and maybe a tiny baby lotion or two.
