I went through the same thing. I started my new job last month and I'm currently 13 weeks. I just went ahead and told my boss. Luckily she was very understanding and I just try to work extra hard during my six month probationary period. Good luck to you.

I started my new job and found out I was pregnant a month later, they cannot fire you for being pregnant, hang in there girl! As long as you show your worth, they will probably want to keep you around. The tough part for us mama's is leaving our babies to go back to work, idk how I'm gonna be able to do that, but I love my job and it is important to me as I'm sure it is the same for you. Don't stress, everything that happens is for a reason:)

I say wait a few weeks just to prove yourself. Maybe the news won't be such a shock when they see you're doing an excellent job even though you're pregnant. And my advice is to prepare all your snacks and meals so that you're eating through out the day. And save as much as you can in case they do decide not to hire you after the 6 months.

He can't fire you just because your pregnant. It's against the law. If it is only a six month contract he might not extend past it but by that time you'll have your baby. You can look for another job while your healing. I would go in on Monday and let him know the situation. Explain to him that you just found out and you plan to work as long as possible. You can also not say anything until you show but that may make you seem shaddy.
