Hi have any of you began to search for your child's pediatrician? ?

On my 3rd pregnancy and still don't have a pediatrician. They seem so scarce around my area, it's like I have a choice of about 5 old men and that's it. If they are the only ones providing pediatric services for a population of 50000+, it hardly seems worth booking in and waiting that long just for a check up for a healthy kid. So I'll probably only look into one if any of my kids have/develop an abnormal health condition.

I have been serching for the past month.

I signed up with a pediatrician today under Kaiser. I haven't had any issues with the doctors at Kaiser hence, I simply looked at their profiles online and picked one.  No interviews or anything.

Did you already have one in mind or did you look around & interview?

I did. Im 3 weeks and my ob gave me papers to fill out and send to the hospital for my delivery. When I called the pediatrician they said to call them a few days after I have her.
