Sterilizing bottles

Are you ladies going to sterilize bottles before every use or just before the very first use? With my daughter I did before every time but that was 11 years ago and now I'm reading that it isn't necessary but the first time. I was wondering what you guys think? I'm thinking I'll probably still do it every time since it can't hurt.

You can boil or use a sterilizer. I was boiling, then bought a setrilizer because that just turned out to be easier for me.

You can put your bottles in the dishwasher and use the dry cycle which basically bakes everything dry. Not sure if you can do that with the plastic bottles because but you definitely can with glass.

I think it is best to sterilize before each use. You can't relay on your municipla watersupply to always be clean. Tap might be ok for adults but there can still be microbes in the the water that can affect a babies delicate digestive tract.

Here in the UK, it's recommended you sterilise before every use. I've got a microwave steriliser that uses steam. Cost about £10 x

I only put them in boiling water to sterilize the first time with my daughter. I had her 15 months ago.  And will be doing the same with this one
