Told I was going to have a vaginal delivery, now they decided c section :(

today at my check up the doctor told me it was better for me to have a c section since I had a stroke 11 years ago, exactly 11 years from today 8/6/2004 and I'm a lil bit disappointed :( , someone else going thru the same situation? Or at least talk to me about what to expect from c section

I'm about to have my second c section next month. I'm sorry that wasn't your original plan and that you have to switch. But think of it that it's the best thing for your baby if that's what your doctor wants. The recovery is a little rough and it's hard to be as independent as you'd like but as long as you have a great support system, things will work out great and you'll be doing things are your own sooner than you think! (: my first c section was because my son's heart rate was dropping and I was only 1cm dilated. I chose to have my second son this way.
