Work at 34 weeks

So I have about 42 days left til my due date and am still working in a fast paced kitchen, waitressing and bartending! I also babysit during the day and am feeling so tired and worn out! My back, lower belly and ribs ache after a busy shift and when it gets really busy I just want to cry. Tips are a little better but not really by much! I dont like to be pittied or to complain but Im so ready to be done! Waiting for kids to start school and labor day weekend to mark the end of atleast 3 of my 4 positions! Anyone else fry cooking, babysitting, bartending, waitressing or being a mama to an awesome 19 month old!? When do you plan to stop workin?! And when do you plan to go back?

I'm still working at 34 weeks and loving it! It gives me something to do and this way I stay active and make as much extra cash as possible for baby since my company is actually going under and will be closing around my delivery date anyways.

Yes I dont think Ill get much of a break from working after baby is born, atleast 4 weeks, but might have to slowly start back after that. Its exhausting but we need the money and also I'm trying to stay active without over doing it. I'm training my replacement tonight for one position, so within the next two weeks I'll be able to cut back and spend some quality time with my toddler before she becomes a big sister. 40 days to go and feeling like its gonna fly by!

Wow. Like Mrs hall said, you go girl! I can't imagine doing so much. I have enough trouble just trying to cope with my own work environment, and it's not as bad as that. The worst is having to get up and down constantly. The customers aren't to bad anymore. Pay isn't great, but it's something. Good luck, woman.

I just put in my notice for my last day to be September 4th, I'm due on the 21st. And yes it has gotten quite hard to be the very pregnant bartender! I quite literally feel your pain! I did ask fo mostly lunch shifts for my last 2 weeks as my daughter will be back in school anyway, so hopefully that's a little easier and I can still make a few more dollars before baby gets here. I told my manager i want to come back in december bc its our busiest time of year. Take it easy and don't work too long, our job is a bit more physically demanding than a desk job. Good luck!

You go girl! That's really all I can say because I'm 34 weeks as well but I work at a desk, which also takes a toll on me.
