also I agree with Lovemorgan6. Underwear clings to you keeping every thing such as discharge and those little drops of pee when you sneeze ON your vag. Also if you have a bush id consider going bald. It'll keep things clean.

your immune system is very low while pregnant. Which helps your body protect fetus from being rejected by your body. However, your more prone to infections and common colds and flu. Yeast infections occur where there is moisture and its mixed with bacteria. Clean area two times a day and Try keeping yourself dry down there. (My sis used corn starch or any type of powder substance. Even baby powder works to help keep dry)  also don't wear tight pants.

Thrush is a Candida yeast imbalance. You can take the medication to reduce the Candida and you'll get better, but if you don't have good bacteria there to replace it, the Candida will just set up colonies again as it continues to be fed by sugar and processed carbs, and the cycle is likely to begin again. That's why you need probiotic rich food and probiotics, especially SB (saccharomyces boulardii), as they help to colonize your body with good bacteria instead and create a hostile environment for Candida.

^^ I think you're thinking of a UTI. You don't take antibiotics for thrush - they are what often causes thrush in the first place and lead to a candida overgrowth (although you're right about getting your partner treated as he could have it and be spreading it - but there are special thrush medications for that), and cranberry juice is not particularly helpful for thrush, only UTIs (and only unsweetened).

Drinking lots of classical cranberry juice and water can help with flushing it from your body but to get rid of it completely get checked by it doc.

Every time you have a yeast infection you need to go to your doc to get antibiotics to get rid of it. And so does your husband. If you go to the doctor and get treatment and your husband does not get any treatment he can reinfect you if you got ur treatment and finish it. Its also not recommended to have sex until a week after taking the antibiotics.

Cut out sugar and white flour (these foods promote Candida yeast growth - I find it too hard to cut out completely, but I've really cut back by replacing them with protein and good fats, especially Greek yoghurt as it is probiotic rich).. then take an SB probiotic tablet (brewers yeast is similar) for a month, or for the rest of your pregnancy, which fights Candida. I'd apply the probiotics topically where the thrush is too, mixed with yoghurt (I did this last time and thrush went away - sounds gross but it worked well). Anyway, haven't had thrush for a really long time now!

I am 36 weeks pregnant and  have been on pelvic rest, so no sex. I have had sex in the last eight months with my husband twice and I notice each time I had discharge afterwards. I have also noticed prior to pregnancy that I have a discharge after sex and when I go without sex it goes away. I keep saying that I was gonna try  condoms and see if it still happens. But haven't gotten around to it. But good luck on a cure. Cause I haven't really looked into it.
