l actually been anemic my whole life, and l'm just like you, l hate pills so bad that l would forget to take them. You just have to do an effort to remember because FOLIC SCID, PRENATAL VITAMINS, IRON, FISH OIL, are a MUST for the baby. What l do, is place my pills where l can often see them. Also for iron, l eat liver, beans, lentilles, spinach, potatoes, etc.
Good luck.

I'm self diagnosed lol. But I looked up foods, which actually helped my iron levels. Beets (I do NOT eat, but are HIGH in iron), raisins, spinach, I tried some apricots also.
