Being a- or b- has nothing to do with it its being rh negative is what its called the shot doesn't hurt at all you get the shot a total 3 time first trimester 28 weeks and after birth being rh negative is kinda rare from the latest research iv done 15% of Americans have it there is history about being rh negative its pretty interesting look it up on youtube some people think its religious but its pretty interesting to research it

It Might Have Been Sore Cause You Was Tightning Your Muscle .. i Remember i Did That Once Getting A Shot In My Arm & i Couldnt Even Lift It For A Good 3Days Because Of How Sore It Was.. But im Also Negative , I Just Got The Shot in My Butt & Thats all .. you Get Another Shop Before You Deliver , Honestly its Very important To Get It Because Your Blood Will Fight The Baby As If The Babys A Bacteria .. But Only If The Babys Blood Comes In Contact With Yours , Which Happens 50/50 During Labor .. First Born Isnt To Serious But It Can Be 100% Serious With Your Second Child

That shot hurts...not gonna lie. I hate it I swear it is like getting injected with cold malassus!my booty was sore for 3 days!!but it is important to protect the baby from possible death.

I got mine a couple weeks ago, didn't really hurt. They just gave it to me in the office in my hip/butt. And they do give you another after birth. Super easy, no biggie :)

Got mine yesterday and had one after a miscarriage - both times it was a shot in the butt. My doc gave me a prescription for it and I had to get it at the hospital. I took the opportunity to pre-register and get the tour while I was there.

Yea I'm a- and my boyfriend is a+ so there's a chance that my baby's blood could be poisoned by my own blood. I'm 27 weeks tomorrow and had my shot yesterday.

It's called the rhogam shot and you get it at 28 weeks. It doesn't hurt much and you can get it in the hip or arm. It's to protect the baby from your blood's antibodies if they have a different blood type than yours. You also get one after labor if you deliver vaginally.
