Cramping

I'm 5wks+2 and i have been having sporadic severe cramping for the last week. No bleeding, but this doesn't feel right. When i had normal menstrual cycles it never hurt this bad. ER said it was common but were pretty informal and not concerned. 1st pregnancy and just wondering if this WAS normal. Can't see OB till 12th.

I had bad cramps with my first around 5-7 weeks. My doctor said to drink a lot of water. (Even though I was already drinking a ton). Anyway, it helped. How are you feeling now?

Hi,
I had this at 4/5 weeks the pain was in the middle of my stomach for a week then spread to the left side for a day. I went to the Dr who sent me for an early scan when I was over 6 weeks. Everything was fine, and I'm currently 8 weeks.
Hope everything is okay for you :)
Try having a warm bath that helped me eveytime I had pain.
Hope this helps

With my 1st pregnancy I had the same. It was so bad I was bawling & curled up in a ball. I swore that I was losing the baby... apparently it was just growing pains as there was never any blood. Hope it passes soon!!

Hi I've had the same thing non stop for 2 weeks.  It's also my first pregnancy :) I too was worried coz its painful and I know what u mean about it not feeling right.  I went to the drs and they had an ulta sound coz at first I was having pain just on one side but it was a complete waste of time and it was too early to see anything. . Im only 5 weeks. Pain is better now as I take extra magnesium vitamins :)
