light spotting

Hey ladies I have a question. Me and my boyfriend had sex and the next 2 days I had light brown spotting. I am guessing I am around 6 weeks maybe further. I was worried sick because this is my second pregnancy and the first one didnt go well but I didnt have any spotting during that one. I feel great with only gas cramps. Am I over reacting or should I be worried? My first appointment is Feb. 10th and just pray the baby is healthy!

That could be from a popped blood vessel from when you had sex, cause your cervix gets really sensitive when you get pregnant. But call your doctor anyway. I would say as long as theres no heavy bleeding or cramps youre good. See if your doctor can do an ultrasound for you. Since youre spotting they will probably do one. They did for me at 5 1/2 weeks. Good luck <3

I had that when I was pregnant with my daughter, I asked my MIL who is an ob nurse about it and she said it's just old blood from your last period (gross I know) but she said as long as it's not bright red you shouldn't have anything to worry about!
