If you have nausea with your migraines ask your doctor about a prescription for Zofran it dissolves on your tongue and helps greatly. Hot showers are not recommended for migraines the heat can cause you to get really dizzy. Next time try a warm bath with an ice pack on your head and neck. Also sleep in the darkest coolest room in your house,  if you have to use a fan. It keeps your temperature down so your head can relax.
I've suffered from chronic migraines for 15 years now. Also, my mom is a CNA.

I feel your pain. I dont normally suffer with even mild headaches but have had a severe non stop headache for 5 weeks now and the last two have been like a migraine. I cant stand light and the slightest bump or noise makes me flinch. Im tired and nauseous and all the normal other symptoms but its the headaches that have had me bedbound for 2 weeks. Im so tired of it and just want to get out and about again. Doc just told me to drink more... im trying. 4head strips dont work. Let me know if u know any tips xx good luck with urs x
