You're not out of the woods yet. I didn't get any until the last 2 weeks.  They came on fast. Like over night.  Didn't matter what I rubbed in my belly.

I thought i was gonna be lucky and not really have any with my first.  Got some by my belly button around 30 weeks then boom two days before i had her i got the rest.  So far with this pregnancy at 27 weeks i haven't noticed any new ones

...even though I'm low on zinc too. Once my iron gets to normal levels (if it ever does) I can lower my doses of iron and then I'll be able to take iron in morning and zinc at night. Just so you know not to load up on zinc if your iron is low!

I had none then got a couple at 38 weeks...  Zinc is supposed to really help with skin health, either a good supplement (citrate form) or oysters and muscles and plenty of other zinc rich foods (easy to look up)... I think the creams are limited in what they can do, I mean they might help to a certain extent but they don't help for every skin layer. Also genetics plays a big part... Sometimes you're just gonna get them no matter what!

Just a side note, I'm anaemic this pregnancy, and am taking loads of iron supplements which means I can't take zinc as it hinders iron absorption even though

I don't have any yet that weren't already there.
(I used to be voluptuous)
I feel like some of the old faded ones have darkened back up, but I could just be imagining that.

Some women just don't get them but with my first daughter I was so excited that I didn't get them but unfortunately I started to get them around my last 3weeks not bad but I got them. But I do know other mommies that just didn't get them so it could go either way. Just use coco butter or sha butter and oils I know it's to hot for all that but you should be fine :)
