42 and 5 weeks pregnate

Hello, was a little worried about my age and having a baby.I'll be 43 when the baby is born. I have 3 already from my ex husband 18,15 & 14. So I'm totally starting over. Any other motheres out there in my boat or with their experience being pregnant or giving birth at my age?? A lil scared

Hey, I am 33-older than most, but still not in your boat. I saw you had no comments, so I decided I better speak up. Don't be too scared. Our bodies quit making babies when it is time to. If you think of that then you still have some miles left! Google all of the info that you can and ask your ob.
How do your kids feel about a new baby?

Oh I'm going to be 40 in April!! I've got a 9&10 year old. I wanted one husband on the fence so I took the reigns!! Not worried about my age apart from the doctors classing me as a 'geriatric' mother! Geriatric!! Where's my blimmin walking stick then!
I'm doing a planned c section because the first two were essentially disasters so I'm glad labour is not on the cards!! To be fair I am worried about whether I'll handle it -but then I'm SO much fitter and healthier than I ever was when I had the other two so that's got to be a good thing. I feel physically better than I did in my 20's it's got to count for something - plus, our kids are older it's not like we are going to panic over every little thing as we know what's worth worrying about and what's not. And - you've got free babysitters! Yay!
