Gallstones ?

Hey I'm 24 weeks pregnant & I just found out that I have gallstones should I be worried about the baby ? Anyone been through this before ?

I also found out I had gallstones a year before I was pregnant from my first. She is already 18 months and expecting again in Sept. Still have not taken them out since they have never been a severe problem. Depends on the intensity of the pain (if you have any). Labor was smooth during the first birth and pregnancy for my second has been good. I plan on getting them removed after giving birth.

I had gullstone's with my first pregnancy. Besides the awful pain it caused, my pregnancy was normal and birth and baby was perfect and healthy. Unless your doctor tells you otherwise you should be fine. I was orginally told it was severe heartburn mid-pregnancy. But I was persistent it was otherwise. 3 months after I had my daughter I had my gull bladder removed. Quick and fast recovery as well.
