Dilating and not due until Sept 19th

So I have been having a lot of Braxton hicks so I went to the hospital yesterday and because of having so many in such short time they checked me and I'm already at 2cm I know for some they have went full term even dilating this early and some have went early have any of you had this happen with previous pregnancies?

Maybe this is asking too much info but were you having sex or exercising regularly? Besides my average walking in a day I do a mile fast walk and have for awhile. I will not stop doing these things I just wonder if they would make it move along faster?

With my last pregnancy I got so excited when the dr. Told me I was 2 cm. I thought it was going to happen any day and had the Braxton hicks also. But I stayed like that for a month and actually went a week over
No need to worry

Yes I lost my mucus plug already I'm just a little worried because I have been nesting a lot and with my son I started dilating at 37weeks then at 38weeks I was at a 5 and stayed there for a week and had him at 39. Although I am 34weeks today she is measuring in at 35 so that is a plus I'm just hoping she stays in for two weeks at least!
