Is it safe and ok to dye hair and do nails while pregnant? I'm half way through my 8 wks..

Unless you have wounds or broken skin on your scalp, hair dye is fine, just do a test before as hormones might make you slightly more sensitive to chemicals but it won't harm baby

You should wait till 12 weeks till dying your hair apparently. However my roots were awful so two weeks before I done mine but saw no problems

During my first pregnancy I had my hair colored towards the end of my second trimester. My hair stylist used ammonia free hair dye. It didn't have a scent at all. Right now I need it bad, but have decided to wait until my second trimester. I'm 9 wks 5days, so I just have to wait a couple more weeks.

I highlight my hair. I did during my first two pregnancies and I just had my hair done a week ago. I'm 9 weeks along. I can't say it's safe but I've broken the rules and done it without issues. Good luck!

I don't see why nails would be an issue. I guess it's a case of reading the details on the hair dye box / talking to your hairdresser - just to make sure no nasty chemicals.
