11 week check up
I have an 11 week check up on the 19th i was wondering if they do a sonogram and how well you can see the baby. And is the sonogram vaginal or external? My first one was vaginal and it was so uncomfortable. =(
Depends on your doctor but probably will have the next at around 20 weeks for gender and anatomy scan. I get a low definition ultrasound at every appointment since they have a machine there but I have to go to the hospital for the high definition one. I went at 20 weeks for that and will probably go again towards the end for baby sizing.
If they do an u/s they'll probably try with the belly transducer first then resort to transvag if needed. You'll be able to see the basic shape of baby and the heart beating and baby wiggling around.
My dr. Didn't do my first sonagram till 20 weeks I hear it's the best at 16+ because then you can see the gender if the baby wants you to Lol
