24hr Urine Collection
Since my urine suddenly tested positive for protein, my doctor ordered a 24hr collection done. Well... they gave me a large jug, but I've filled it to the top already! I called the lab to see what I should do and the nurse said to just bring in what I could fit. I said "ok, but I have maybe 20-24ozs extra..." She was like "oh wow...uh well just bring in what you can..."
I guess it just means that I'm really well hydrated?? I hope they can get the test results they need.

Wow...my last one i just took on Thursday i barely did half the jug! Go you...i need to do better lol

The results of the test will be innacurate since you are missing part of the urine. I cannot believe the nurse told you "to bring what you can" because the 24 hrs of urine needs to be collected. There is nothing with urinating a lot, I have seen patients (I am a nurse myself) bringing 2 full gallons..
