The last ultrasound that my insurance would cover, unless there are medical problems, was my anatomy scan. Now I had a 3D one done, but we paid out of pocket for that... Take comfort in knowing that everything must be perfect and going smoothly if you don't need another one, Mama :) I know it's hard because we wanna see our little ones, but it really is what's best for the baby.
I think that's more common that not. They haven't actually proved them to be 100% safe so unless there's a medical reason, I think people try not to do them to excess.
A lot of women don't get ultrasounds passed 20 weeks aka the anatomy ultrasound. Usually what they do to is just measure your stomach to see how you're doing. And if something seems off from that then they'll usually do an ultrasound, but if there's no need then it is perfectly normal.
