Just because u didnt go in to labor until weeks later does not mean she will have to wait weeks thats why i said it can happen at any time that could be to day, a few days from now or even a week from now nomatter what get exited because ur baby is almost here weather u go in to labor today tomorrow or next week :-)

It's reliable enough. It wouldn't be so popular if it was that unreliable. Well you should know that every pregnancy is different so her losing her plug could be a sign of labor starting for her since she is 38 weeks.

I'm also on my 5th. I've lost it at various stages of pregnancy. Lost it already at 30 weeks. I'm nearly 34 weeks now. I also have 16 years of experience at this, not just from having babies.

Web MD is not a reliable source.
You can lose your mucus plug at any point in pregnancy. It can happen more ran once because it regenerates. Even late in pregnancy, you can lose it weeks before you go into labor. It is not a sign of impending labor.

According to WebMd, the passing of the mucus plug is one of the signs of labor. Labor may begin after the passing of the mucus plug or one or two weeks later... being 38 weeks I would take it as a sign of almost being ready

You can lose your mucus plug weeks or even months before labor. It's not really a sign of labor. You are getting close but don't take this as a sign that it is about to happen. It may. It may not.

Mucus plug is a good sign of labor becoming in effect!
