facing towards my back?

I went to my doctor appt today and my baby is facing towards my back with his spine showing.. but he was facing that way two weeks ago as well. I feel him move occasionally but not all the time.. im 21 weeks and the doctor didn't say much besides the babys heart looks good. Any opinions? And is it normal for the baby to be facing that way all the time?

My midwife said that is the preferred position for delivery. So that's a good thing for you!

Thats the way babies should be their spine facing your belly otherwise its known as back to back if their spine is at your back and that makes for a harder labour

You can still give birth that way if bub is still in that position at tge time. Although there is no need to worry about position til 37weeks,  hence why the dr didn't say anything about it.

I'll be 36 weeks on Sunday, and it seems like every time we have went to the doctor our baby is always facing my back! So I guess its a normal thing :)
