41yrs old with second child

Found out am pregnant last week I think am 5wks. Last year around this time I was also pregnant but miscarried. This pregnancy feels different and my appt isn't till November 11th. Should I go in early since I had miscarriage before?  Am not in any pain or bleeding  but I want to make sure.

Even with a past miscarriage, you typically aren't seen until between weeks 8 and 10. You can talk to them and request your numbers be checked because of your concerns of past loss. It depends on what the policy is for that practice.

I believe you will be fine. But I have suffered from miscarriages and my first appointment was a 4 weeks. They could see movement.  I just needed peace of mind.  I understand completely you just want to know. Now I am 17 weeks and I still am nervous not to hear a heart beat every time.  My doctor knows how I am so he never makes me wait and goes straight in to let me hear heart beat and if we can't instantly gives me ultrasound.  I can only tell you the same thing my husband says to me every day " trust".
