Thanks for the good info ladies! :)
I had a 3D4D ultrasound with my first at 14 weeks and the tech stated that he was a prominent male no questions on the sex. That she was 100% positive he was a boy. I could see his face, but didn't realize how much it already looked like him until after he was born. Goodluck!!
I had one done at 15 weeks then again at 28 weeks. The gender was really easy to see but then again she was positioned well.
I had my 1st ultrasound which was a 2d at 10 weeks so of course the gender hadn't developed yet. My doc ordered the 4D so it's not like I have a choice. I'm just curious whether the genital area is easier to determine in a 4D? I'm so impatient! Lol.
Hi, you should be able to see the gender with a regular ultrasound and maybe wait on 4d until your further along so the baby's features are more developed. Totally your call it's just a little better to wait until the baby is further along and has a fuller face so you can see what he or she looks like. I'm 31 wks and just had my 4d
