4cm dilated and got sent home

I'm 39 weeks with my second child I'm having a boy and my due date is the 22nd of Oct I'm 4cm and the midwife sent me home in not sure if I dilated any more how can I tell or what should I do to get him out

They should not have sent you home.  After you hit 3cm that's normally when they admit you because anything could happen from that point.  But try walking stairs will help, and do it for 1hr30mins

Ginger tea ..  whole ginger pill it boil it in milk drain the tea in a cup drink it hot shower walk around squats and will be out before u know it it work for three of my pregnancy

Old people say sex, walking up hills, or up and down stairs, bouncing on an exercise ball. Different thingsbut if you're already at 4 cm it's not gone be hard
