5 weeks Pregnant getting abdominal pains left hand side

Its almost a year since I miscarried and I recently found out that I'm 5 weeks pregnant. Any little niggles I get and I cant help but get worried.

At the minute I'm getting lower abdominal pain on the left hand side. The pain comes and goes and no blood though (thank god)...I'm just wondering if anyone else is experiencing the same thing at all?

I typically researched it and wish I didn't as I came across posts about ectopic pregnancies and how sometimes you won't bleed

I too had a miscarriage last year and have been fortunate enough to conceive again. Every minor cramp i get frightens me. It is traumatizing to lose a baby even if it is not considered a fetus yet.  I wish you a healthy pregnancy and only hope for the same myself.

But studies show that if you have a miscarriage the chances of the next one will have a greater survival rate to full term. That gives me little comfort but take care of yourself and eliminate any stressors you may have in your life.

It is really scary. I told people at work and friends that I was pregnant last time but this time I'm going to wait until I know for definite that the baby is ok.
I wish you both have healthy pregnancies xxxx

I am 16weeks 4days pregnant, and I have had pains on both sides randomly throughout. My Dr said it's nothing to worry about, it is just the different muscles and uterus stretching.
Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy!

I'm at my 19 weeks. Pregnant now with my 4th baby. Never had these painful pain also on my left side . I had a doctor visit and they send me to the lab and do urine text. So now I would have to wait and see what is goin on.

Hope all is ok with your pregnancy Keisha_regina24, please keep us informed.
I think I will call the doctors tomorrow and see what they advise. Better to be safe than sorry after all.

I've just realised my daft phone posted my last comments too many times, sorry.

Well I went to the early planning clinic had a scan and all seems well. I saw the sack and embryo. It seems as though I ovulated from the left.
So far so good!!
