Sounds like a hemorrage but only they can tell you for sure. Talk to your dr, if it's a hemorrage they can tell you how big it is. Depending on size from research I've done because Dr's never actually talked to me about it is that it is more common then not and can be re absorbed by the body by 20 weeks. At 7 weeks mine covered 30% of baby sac then 40% of baby sac but things turned out fine. Call or go in and ask for more info!

I had a sch (hemorrage) at 7 weeks that caused bleeding and grew by 9 weeks and they said threatened miscarriage but at 20 weeks almost gone and now 22 and healthy baby! Do you have an sch? There is always a reason for bleeding

I've had this happen to me last may. I think you should go see a doctor again and have them check your hormone levels to make sure they are not dropping. I started with bright bleeding and it slowed down but lasted for days and when I returned to the doctor they said the baby didn't have a heart beat. I ended up passing the baby naturally at home. I am now 22 weeks pregnant again and due in may around the same time I miscarried. Just return to the doctor to be sure.
