I get severe migraines, I was told the Excedrin Tension Headache is okay it does not have asprin in it. Tylenol just did nothing. Even if I had a coke with it. Dr. Said I was suffering badly and that the caffine in the excedrine was ok as long as I only took two doses a day if needed. I would still consult you dr. To be sure.
My doc said Tylenol only. No Aleve, Advil or asprin. If u do a Google search the results will tell u DO NOT take Aleve. When in doubt, call ur doc :)
Tylenol is the only over the counter pain medication you can use.
Aleve always worked for me. Try napping also.
