Anything is fine in moderation. Half a cup (measuring cup) of red wine once every month would be ok but a glass of wine a day is absolutely absurd. Now it is also your choice on if you believe the benefits out weigh the risks. Truthfully there is no benefit from consuming alcohol during pregnancy.

I would say no amount. When I grew up there was a documentary on fetal alcohol syndrome. While some children has mother's who drank and came out fine, others came out with FAS. To me after enduring all this change for 40 weeks I would hate to chance my child's life and development on a something I can enjoy after birth with no consequences.

Different countries have different advice. Lots say none, lots say a little is fine, particularly red wine as it has many health benefits. My country advises none, but after looking up lots of scientific articles on the subject, I feel quite safe drinking half a glass of red wine a couple of times a week.

The true is no nobody no how much alcohol can harm your developping baby because everybody metabolism is different and we can't test different quantity on pregnante women until the quantity causing fetal alcoholism syndrome is determined.  In doubt better to not do it. Why risk it and blame yourself if anything happen. I don't understand why not drinking alcohol for 9 months is so hard and I am a beer lover! If you crave the taste bake something like red wine sauce where you gave the taste and no alcohol.

One of my best friends had her first three babies in Germany. She said her dr said to limit drinking to a beer with dinner and wine before bed.
She drank pretty regularly. Her oldest is ten youngest is three and theyre all intelligent, awesome kids. Shes prego again and drinks occasionally.

I dont see anybody being mean ,
But anyway ive heard its good to drink it, but it can also be bad... If its a craving u cant control i guess drink enough to satisfy the craving since it can possibly have possitive affect.

Yes you can. Dr's say a glass a day. Usually red wine. Its really up to your comfort level. I tried to drink a glass of wine and half way through the glass i was tipsy and woozy. You honestly can drink what ever you want. It takes more than a glass of any alcohol a day to effect the fetus.

Some say you can some say you can't. If there's a chance it can hurt baby why do it? Put the alcohol down for 9 months and grow your child.
