My mother has a 22 ur old 21 year old 18 year old 5 year old and a 4 yr old it's shocking at first but with teenagers you can teach them about children n newborn's and also a good form of birth control

I am 15 years apart from my youngest sister, but we had siblings in between so it wasn't a surprise to me. Honestly, now that I'm expecting I'm so glad to have grown up with infants in the home. It makes me feel a lot more confident in being able to care for my future children and really was a deciding factor in developing my political identity with regards to social policies (welfare, abortion, things like that)
Even if your children aren't happy now, this experience can definitely work for their good later on. I would say let them be as involved as you are comfortable with and their attitudes may change.

My mom had all of us very far apart. I was 9 when my sister was born then when i was 16 she had my little brother. I'm now 28 and pregnant with my first. The only problems were being expected to help with the kids all time and not having much in common with them because i was a teenager/ young adult and they were babies/kids. Having to help raise them so parents could work made me wait a lot longer to start a family of my own because i was tired of taking care of kids since i was 9 years old. I've lived on my own for over 6 years now and have a great career of my own so it's time for me now. I love my siblings and wouldn't change it for anything....but i believe it did change my path in life because they were born so much later then me.

Most teens are pretty self centered in today's society. Don't let any of their comments bug you too much. When the baby comes they might change their minds. If not, make sure to keep an eye on their interaction with the baby and any strange comments now.

Ugh, my friend just told me she watched an episode of deadly women yesterday, 14 yr old killed 3-5 babies under her supervision as babysitter and an 7yr old? that was her sibling.

I was already under the impression that my baby's oldest half brother would smother her due to his behavioral issues I've observed. I know human psychology fairly well so he's really not allowed near her alone as sad as that sounds. You know.. Kinda like Spidey sense going off. He's turning 15, other is turning 13

I have an 18 year boy that told me to use protection. A 14 year boy that said he does not want to be a midle child and that then he will not get my attention because he will be jealous. They don't know yet. Eventually I will tell them though.

My oldest is about to be 21 in less than a month, she is excited. My 9 year old son is just more concerned with the baby being a boy right now. You're going to do great.
