You should be feeling good in your 2nd trimester. Go for it. I'm still doing it all at 38 weeks. Mowing. weed eating. gardening. canning green beans. Painting rooms. Shampooing carpet and the couches. And everything else as far as housework goes.
No it's not dangerous to continue what you've always done! Your body is used to that and if you feel fine, then it's all good. If you start to feel fatigued or in pain, then maybe your body is telling you it's a bit much.
The advice for pregnant women to be careful is for women who haven't done too much anyway. If you're not pregnant and go to lift something heavy, you'll probably still be fine. But a pregnant woman may pull or damage muscles. But a removalist who gets pregnant and continues to lift heavy objects will probably be fine as they know which muscles to use etc.
So when approaching hard physical tasks, it's wise to look at whether your body has been previously trained in the area or not. Continuing to mow a lawn is fine if you feel fine!
Im a dairy farmer and I work up to 12 hrs a day but my body is used to it as it seems like yours is used to the things you do. My dr told me not to strain myself and put myself out of breath.. otherwise everything should be fine. Im finding that the "more pregnant" (I guess) I get that I am getting fatigued more often so I am beginning to limit myself and take an additional couple breaks. So just listen to your body and stay hydrated and when u begin to feel tired give yourself a break!
I did all that stuff up til a few weeks ago... Only thing I didn't want to do was chainsaw, rototill, etc since it seemed like it jiggled me too much and I didnt like the feeling. I think if you really listen to your body, it will tell you what's too much.
I'm 25 weeks doing the yard work plus cleaning horse stalls down I the barn. I asked my Dr. and he said if it would cause harm or a miscarriage, every 16 year old would be outside cutting the grass lol. Just be safe take your time and breaks!
You can take tyenol just nothing with asprin also try a cold rag I have bad headaches like that all the time
Hi i am 9 week and i getting alot headache i know i cant take no pill is there anything else i can do they are really bad at times
It all depends on how you actually feel...! I am 26 weeks and still mowing the lawn. Did it last night actually! But I may not for much longer because I noticed my hips are bothering me quite a bit today. Obviously don't use your gut to push the mower (use your arms.) Everyone's different but just make sure you aren't getting too hot, drink fluids, and stay away from lawn chemicals!
Ask your dr but I exercised up till 36 weeks when my ankles swelled so much I couldn't put on my shoes! Make sure you stay hydrated.
