Any advice?

I'm 40+4. I have felt sharp stretching pain in my vagina. Last night it got worse. I can't walk, or get off the bed/couch, or get on the bed/couch. Any advice on how to calm the pain? Or what it could be? I'm a FTM so I'm not sure what is going on.

Yeah I just had the same problem the other night I was walking & with every few steps it was a sharp shooting pain in my vagina that literally stopped me in my tracks & made me want to cry. I had doctors appt the next day & she said its from baby putting so much pressure. I only feel it when I'm walking though never while I'm sitting

Your baby's head putting pressure there & your cervix softning is what I read online. I feel sharp pains also I'm 37 weeks. Lol I heard a mommy call it knife in the crotch pains bahaha its just one of the many uncomfortable things you feel at the end. Don't be worried unless you see lots of bright blood or your mucus plug, or your water breaks then get to the hospital right away! Or contractions that just really bad!

Yes. I'm getting induced on Tuesday since I haven't seemed to dilate past 2 cm. The books just tell you the medical info. They don't explain all the other "symptoms". My pregnancy has been fine up till this last month. I have been to the hospital like 5 times due to the contractions. Always get sent home due to only being 2 cm. I've felt the pain before but not as strong as last night/today. I can't move basically. I have to have help from my boyfriend and it still hurts. It makes me walk very slow. Hopefully you don't have to feel that pain. As I have no idea what it is. But doctors act like it's normal.
