Anyone else have to wait?

So I had my second Dr. appointment (I'm 9 weeks) and was expecting an ultrasound. Very disappointed because I was told I won't get one until I am 20 weeks. Just wondering if anyone else had to wait.

Yeah you only have 2 or 3 ultrasounds throughout a singleton pregnancy. If you're having multiples you get an ultrasound every two weeks. Sorry mama.

Count yourself lucky you've already had 2 appointments! I knew at a month I was for sure pregnant & had to wait til I was 11 weeks before they'd even see me! Felt like forever! We had an ultrasound 4 days later & were told we'd get another at 20 weeks. Look into places around you that have a prenatal vision where you pay out of pocket for one! They reveal gender & make movies for you of the ultrasound. Need to be 16 weeks but it's still sooner & you can get lots of different keepsakes!

I got one at seven weeks, twelve weeks for a nuchal translucency (checking for down syndrome) and one at 20 for anatomy. These are standard at my doctors office.

With my first baby I had to wait until I was 18 weeks to get an ultrasound and that day we found out I had a 20 cm cyst on my right ovary....then I had to see a specialist every other week.

I would be asking why bc typically the base ur due on ur period but verify it with an ultrasound...if the two date vary more then a week then they go with the ultrasound date.
