Due TODAY :) but where is she?

Today is my due date! And it has been such a long time coming. I'm so sore/ achy but I have no signs of labor :( a few contractions about a week ago but nothing now. No bloody show. Very minimal back pain and cramps. Not dilated either. I have an appointment in 2 days and I'm hoping they'll set me up a plan for induction. I'm ready for labor but also kinda nervous. And I heard induction is even worse pain wise. Do any experienced mommys out there have any advice or stories about being induced? I really don't want to be pregnant for another two weeks, I can barely walk as it is!

I'm in the same boat.  But plan on canceling my induction next week because I read really bad things about it.  My first child was 5 days late.

Walk, have sex, bounce and roll your hips on a yoga ball, walk up stairs, squat, nipple stimulation, I did sit ups (with Hubby's help) with my son that wasn't induced. I didn't think it worked at first then I got dressed for bed,sat on the bed to lay down and my water broke and contractions started within 10 min.

Im pregnant with #6. All my kids have been induced but one. My last one I was induced with and I didn't get an epidural. It was really painful but childbirth is supposed to be painful. I guess it depends on your body. From start to finish my labor with him was only 5 1/2 hours. I don't know if I would have lasted for 18-20 hours. Being induced makes the contractions come on harder and faster but I looked at the nurse and said "bring it" the harder and faster they come the sooner I'll be holding my baby! Each person is different though, having had so many I knew what to expect and my pain tolerance is much higher now than it was with my first. You're not a failure if you get an epidural. I was always nervous about the pain of getting an epidural but honestly for me it felt like a lot of pressure, that's it. But really the contractions were so painful I wouldn't have cared if they drove a Mac truck up my back!
