You can ask your dr about some flexeril. Its a muscle relaxers and it will make your back feel so much better. My pain was so bad i didn't even want to move but with flexeril and my hubby giving me daily massages, i feel better.
When you have pain it's better to use ice. Heat can cause inflammation and that can make it worse. If you are a little achy than heat is fine. Seeing a chiropractor on a regular basis can help your pain level as well as help get your body ready for birth. I am 33 weeks and have had back pain/issues since around 16 weeks. I would not still be working and functioning if I did not go to the chiropractor every week.
