BLIGHTED OVUM
Has anyone ever been told there having blighted ovum. I was told today fir anyone who doesnt know the meaning its whem the egg plants itself Into the uterus but a baby doesnt grow. Im suppose to b 8 weeks and 5 daya today. My sac only measures 6weeks. They are basically saying silent miscarriage or BLIGHTED OVUM
Sometimes the reason for the baby not growing is because there is too many genetic problems wrong with the baby therefore our body realizes this & the baby stops. Your not alone in this. It happens to many women.
This happened to me alittle over a year ago. If the ovum doesn't miscarry itself you will most likely have to get a d&c. I'm so sorry for your loss.the doctors could be off on dates but if that's what they are saying than more than likely that's what it is.
