Baby Boy Made His Entrance

I had my check up on Wednesday and was 3cm and 50% and still very posterior so I was only a 6 on the Bishop score and could not schedule an induction yet.  So I thought I would have to wait until my next appointment on Wednesday the 18th to hopefully be further.  Then while I was working from him on Friday I felt nauseous all morning and started getting contractions around noon that I thought were from just feeling icky.  Then I started timing them and they were 3-5 min for an hr and and a half so I went in to the hospital. I was4 cm and 60%.  So they called my doctor and she told them to admit me and break my water.  They came to break my water at 5pm and I was a 4 1/2 and 70%. I decided to get the epidural since I was so sick and nauseous.  After doing so my blood pressure plummeted.  They gave me lots of fluids and 5 or 6 doses of meds to bring it up.  After a long time it started to stabilize.  My doctor came just in time for me to push. I pushed once and they told me to stop. Pushed again and he was out.  At 11:08pm on Friday the 13th my little Declan Christopher came into the world 10 days early weighing 6 pounds 7 ounces and 18 3/4 inches.  This is my smallest at birth my other two were 8 pounds 11 ounces and 8 pounds.  He is such a little peanut.  Another time where I thought nothing would be happening and bam there it is.  Good luck to all the other mommies :)
