Vet mum's!!

Ok so my 2 year old little boy has been kissing and laying his head on my belly saying sissy sissy. He does have a sister but doesn't see her much. So my question is have you had this happen and go on to have a girl? And what's your story of your older babies knowing your pregnant again and their actions?

My son keeps saying baby girl but ultrasound and blood test prove boy. He has no siblings until this little guy is born. I think kids just have wild imaginations :)

hm.  Well, if only it were that easy to know the sex.  I wouldn't put much stock in this.

My older son was only 15 months when my second was born.  I never did the whole mommy's having a baby thing.  When I brought my baby home, baby number two that is, baby number one gave him a long once over checking him out and then went on about his business playing with my sister who was watching him while I delivered.  My first was just so young when my second was born.

Yours is pretty young but old enough to talk sibling.  However, most likely he will never remember a time in his life in which he was the only child.  I was sad about that for my first until I saw how wonderful it was for him to have a sibling. :>)  Enjoy

Right. Lol I was just curious there are alot of mom's that have that happen like their little one knows they are pregnant.
Hm.  I am guessing a lot of little ones know in some way.  We also talk about it around the house and rub our bellies and draw attention to it so I'm also guessing they hear a bit going on.  It's an exciting time for the whole family.  I was that odd mom who worried and fretted about my older child and was I stealing his thunder?  Was I rocking his world in a negative way?  I didn't talk about it much to him because he was really a baby himself (just 6 months when I conceived)---  but in the end, it was joyful for everyone.  My boys are good buddies now.  :))
